We are dedicated to fostering education and collaboration in holistic land management and regenerative agriculture. Our mission is to empower landowners and communities through practical knowledge and sustainable practices.
Founded in 2024, HDX was established to connect holistic land stewards in Australia with the Savory Institute Global Network — sharing the knowledge, tools, and expertise needed to regenerate landscapes and livelihoods.
We are developing exchange programs within Savory Network Hubs, connecting land stewards through workshops, events, and training to share practical knowledge and cultural wisdom. By learning from each other’s experiences, we strengthen our collective ability to regenerate land, build thriving communities, and enhance resilience for future generations.

Hub Leader, Director
Marika is the Hub Leader of the Holistic Decision Exchange (HDX). Together with her husband and four children, she manages a regenerative farm near Bridgetown, Western Australia, where they apply Holistic Management principles across grazing, ecological monitoring, and financial planning.
Raised on a sheep and wheat farm, Marika’s lifelong connection to the land has shaped her belief that healthy ecosystems are the foundation of thriving communities. Completing a Holistic Management course in 2020 deepened her understanding of the relationship between soil health, nutrient-dense food, and human wellbeing.
With over 15 years of experience as a radiation therapist and educator, Marika has developed a keen awareness of how human and environmental health are interlinked. She now brings her skills in mentoring, education, and leadership to support land stewards in adopting regenerative practices that balance ecological, social, and financial wellbeing.
Marika is currently undertaking the Holistic Management Educator Program to further develop her capacity to teach and mentor others in applying Holistic Management principles.
Passionate about community, connection, and lifelong learning, Marika is committed to making holistic decision-making accessible and practical for all. Outside of HDX, she enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, and engaging in local community initiatives.

Director
Anne is a Chartered Accountant and experienced company director with a background in corporate governance, finance, and strategic management. Alongside her husband Louis, she co-manages Wandoo Springs, where they are implementing Holistic Management and regenerative practices to enhance soil health, biodiversity, and landscape resilience.
Her professional background includes senior roles across Australian, complemented by her commitment to sustainable land use and natural capital regeneration. Anne combines her business acumen with a passion for supporting holistic decision-making, helping bridge the gap between ecological health and financial wellbeing in farming enterprises.

Director
Louis is the owner and manager of Wandoo Springs near Boyup Brook, Western Australia, where he and his wife Anne are regenerating their landscape using Holistic Management. His journey into regenerative agriculture began with a growing realisation that conventional, reductionist approaches to land and business were not creating the outcomes he hoped for. This led him to rethink how decisions are made on farms and to embrace a more whole-system perspective.
Over the past two decades, Louis has immersed himself in Holistic Management, soil biology, biodiversity, and regenerative practices, learning from practitioners across Australia, the US, and Europe. He is now certified as a Holistic Management Educator and applies these principles to improve soil function, animal health, and ecological resilience at Wandoo Springs. Louis brings a grounded, practical approach to holistic management to create long-term ecological, financial, and social wellbeing.

Viyani Ndlovu
HM Accredited professional, animal herder, community mobiliser
Viyani Ndlovu grew up in a rural community in Zimbabwe where poverty and dependence on livestock shaped his early experiences with agriculture. His involvement in cattle trading connected him with the African Centre for Holistic Management (ACHM), where he completed his first Holistic Management training in 2012.
Since then, Viyani has dedicated his work to mobilising and supporting communities to improve their livelihoods through regenerative land management. He has helped organise and train more than 20 communities across Zimbabwe, supporting better grazing practices, crop production, and land stewardship.
Viyani has undertaken extensive training, including Herder’s training with ACHM, the Community Facilitator Training Program (CFTP), Regenerative Land Management with Healing Hooves (RLM), and Eco-Rangers Training with the Southern African Wildlife College (SAWC). Through this work he has helped communities implement practices such as mobile kraaling to improve soil health and crop productivity.
He is also an Accredited Professional in Holistic Management and continues to support farmers and communities in applying practical, regenerative approaches that strengthen both landscapes and livelihoods.
